Symphonic Triage
The Inventures are back with their distinct arrangements of classical music favorites. Ripping through C.P.E. Bach’s “Solfeggietto,” having a groovy time with Dvorak’s beloved ninth symphony, and diving into an existential soundscape with Grieg’s “Ases dod” are just a few of the trio’s recent explorations. As a follow up from their prior release Classical Leftovers, the group continues to find new and engaging ways to explore the incredible music that comes to us from centuries past.
Classical Leftovers
Parker’s collaborative project, The Inventures, has taken on Chopin, Faure, Satie, and Beethoven on Classical Leftovers. The group developed ponderous arrangements, giving this new set of repertoire that similar Inventures twist that fans enjoyed from their first release. Laden with familiar feels and techniques, their take on these timeless pieces are yet another exciting blend of great musical traditions.
The Layman
Parker’s debut release with a trio, The Layman, is available for streaming, digital download or physical CD purchase on Bandcamp. Parker chose a handful of favorite standards and a few original compositions to record with the uncompromisingly steady Braun Khan (bass) and the fearless Parker Swenson (drums). Enjoy!
Mingling
Mingling can be heard wherever you stream or purchase music. With compositions from Billy Strayhorn, The Beatles, a favorite Irish traditional number, and two improvised pieces, Parker’s voice is rather exposed. Intent on demonstrating restraint throughout the EP, the selections, though compositionally from different places, blend together to form a cohesive and swift listening experience.
The Inventures
One of Parker’s passion projects, The Inventures, has taken all 15 of the Bach Two-Part Inventions and arranged them for a trio of guitar, bass, and drums. Formed with bassist extraordinaire Alex Rowe, the trio, with drummer Parker Swenson, has captivated audiences as they explore new, and at times unexpected, interpretations of these seminal pieces. Listen to the group’s 2019 release, Outside The Bach’s, anywhere you stream or purchase music.

Dune Cloud
Dune Cloud is a collaboration between Parker and Maxwell Butterfield, pursuing the mood of heavier metal-inspired video-game-esque atmospheres. Low-tuned guitars, pulverizing drums, and ear-splitting electronic production is sure to keep your momentum steadily moving ever forward.
Hippopotamus
Hippopotamus is the second collaboration between Parker and Maxwell Butterfield with a neo-electronic-groove character. However you’d choose to characterize the EP, the music was written to create a vibe that doesn’t get in your way but can be infinitely interesting if you catch yourself paying attention. Enjoy 1 Hippo.
